Eläimellistä menoa ... Behaving like animals

I'm a big spender. The spring is on its way and with it many a bird species and many mammals will also be easier to spot live and well a lot more often than during the past few months. Hence I marched into a camera shop and purchased a more effective lense for myself. Now I am the happy owner of a Canon zoom 55-250 mm IS lense. That enabled me to take that good moon shot in my previous post, allthough I confess that I did add contrast and removed light from the picture.

Now I've been testing it to shoot birds in particular and I love this new lense.

Oh, these are great. I think you'll have a lot of fun with your new lens. Looks like it does a great job! I have a 18-200 mm lens and it is very versatile. By the way, your SWF post are terrific! Enjoy the weekend...

Nice photos, how fun to have a new camera lens. I've never seen a hooded crow before, but we have many many mallards here in Seattle. I almost fell out of my chair laughing at that last pic/caption!

Varis-sarja on hauska.

Success with bird photos. Well, concerning about that horse, maybe it has spring in the mind and is dreaming from very nice opposite sex horse. Lol.

My favourites are the ones of the mallards and the woodpecker. I love the reflections and the textures that the long lens gives you!!!
And of course the dogs are wonderful, too, horse poop or not.
