Watery Wednesday N:o 17

So it's already time for a new one. Gosh! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun.

My choice for this week will be two more images from the same place as the previous ones, since I don't really want to put old pictures in this blog by principle. This is after all meant to be a record of this years nature developments here in southern Finland. Besides that spot is my favourite destination, since hardly ever anyone else visits it and my dogs can enjoy all the freedom their blessed little hearts desire.

I love the sound and sight of the waves hitting the shore line rocks. Especially when the evening sun colours the splashes.

These kinds of large rocks can be found around our shores and forests. They were once upon a time broken off the granit hills during the ice age. These ones rise about 1.5 metres from the ground and are as such not a particularly large ones. The big ones are the sizes of small two story houses. In the forest they are also of a different shape usually. More rounded. One such rock can be found on a picture further down in this blog. Category Kalliot/Kivet.

May I suggest that visitors to this blog make their way to see water in all its glory from around the world just by simply clicking on the button below:

Having those giant rocks near the shoreline has such wonderful sensations associated with them. It seems like a wonderous spot to enjoy Nature.

The rocks in the first shot almost look like really, really big candies of some sort. I love the light in both of these!

Hienoja vesiä teillä päin! Että tämmöinenkin haaste, minun pitäisi nyt ottaa kuva vesilasista, järvi on tukevasti jäässä;)

Inkivääri: Vettä se on jääkin :)

2sweetnsaxy: Certainly it's a blessing to have a spot like that only half an hours drive from home. There are others too just as beautiful (if not more) but they tend to be populated by other nature admires.

Jan: I kept taking serial pictures of the splashes but this one I thought was best because of the colours.

Thanking all of you darlings for being so positive and sweet with your comments.

Constructive critisism will not go amiss so feel free to tell me if you think something could be done better. Only that way can a person improve.

I am enjoying your collection of songs on your playlist. Most are songs I know, Abba, Queen,.I'm new to blogging and I have yet to figure out how to do it.
