During the light hours one must focuse on something different than the actual sky to incorporate any interest at all in a picture.
It can be something in the foreground...
... or something in the middle ...
... or even spanning all the way to the background
Late in the day there have been the odd moments of some kind of colour breaking through...
... and one rare moment with a glimpse of the sun just before she went to sleep behind the horizon...
and left behind her a black night time sky.

PS Strandbildet har en veldig fin innramming og ikke for strek kontrast. Svanen ville jeg personlig hatt litt lenger til venstre. Da hadde den svømt så fint "inn" i bildet (dersom du har noe å gå ved beksjæring..

RuneE: I do experiment yes as this camera of mine is rather new. I've owned it for about a month and before only had a digital pocket camera. I love your tips and chatting about angles and placements as well as contrasts. It is very useful to get opinions from more established photographers.
