Watery Wednesday N:o 16

This is the first time for me even if this has been running for some time. A lovely idea for a meme for one, who feels most at home under a big sky and by water, the elixir of life. Watery pictures are always lovely to look at, I find. Some of course better than others. I hope you will enjoy my contribution and I shall certainly come and have a look at pictures in your blogs as well.

By the sea on New Years Eve

Round the corner on the sheltered side the sea had started to freeze over

Quite a debut I must say! These are gorgeous, as are the ones in the post below it.

I quite agree that photos of the water -- the ocean, a lake, even a shallow stream -- have a quality about them that can't be duplicated by anything else.

Exceptional first offering, and I look forward to many more!

Scandanavia holds such great intrigue for me. I definitely hope to visit it someday. Your collages make it very inviting.

Wonderful shots. Such a beautiful place.
To answer your question about my photos the pond shots for WW and SWF were taken on the same day but were different - more water or more sky!

Thank you all so much for making me feel so welcome. You yourselves have such wonderful scenery in your own countries and beautiful images of it.
Ilana-Davita: I thought they looked familiar but I see now that they are different from eachother.
Natural Moments: I hope you get to fulfill your dream some day.
Mojo: Your words are more than encouraging and I'm sure I will continue after such a welcoming :)

This is a wonderful first post for Watery Wednesday. I look forward to seeing more of your photos in weeks to come. By the way, I live in Hawaii, and I cannot imagine it being so cold that the sea freezes! Wow!

What lovely shots and I agree, my mood lightens and worries slip away under a lovely sky sitting by water.
