Sky Watch Friday N:o 30 - Blessed with sunshine

I have been so busy with my study work lately that I have had no time to participate in any memes. Even today I can only post my entry and have to leave the splashing through other participants entries until tomorrow having just got the last urgent assignment e-mailed to my tutor.

As the header claims we have had some rather nice days even if today was as dull as before.

Here is a series of images taken during different times of day and I have been naughty and pointed the camera towards the sun too. Just could not resist it after such a long and grey period. The camera is still working fine though :)

Lämmintä ja kylmää ... Hot and cold

Olen mieltynyt kontrasteihin. Kuvissa kiinnostaa värien, muotojen, ääriviivojen ja linjojen kontrastit jne. Päätin siis tällä kertaa julkaista kuvasarjan, joka edustaa lämpötilojen kontrasteja sekä todellisuudessa että näennäisesti.

I am amused by contrasts. Contrasting colours, shapes, lines and contures etc. So I decided to post a series of pictures that represent contrasting temperatures both in reality and seemingly.



Kylmää - jäätyneet askeleet ... Cold - frozen footsteps


Lämmintä - takkatuli ... Hot - a log fire


Kylmää - lämmin väri mutta kylmä pinta ... Cold - a cold surface with a warm shade

Aivan ihanassa pakkassäässä onkin tämä alkuvuosi alkanut. No myönnettäköön nyt, että jotkut kuvista ajoittuvat kyllä uudenvuodenaatollekin mutta tulkoon ne tänne. Ei se ole niin nokonuukaa. On kuitenkin ollut niin mahottoman ihanat säät sekä joulun että uuden vuoden. Lunta ei ole mutta maa on huurteessa ja sen myötä ihan valkoinen. Vain yksi huono puoli tässä on. Lumipeite suojaa arkoja juuria kun pakkasherra iskee. Siksipä olisi luonnon kannalta hyvä jos sitä lunta olisi. Jäällekin voisi melkein lähteä kävelylle vaan kun se on niin pirskatin liukasta ilman sitä lunta. Vaan kaunista se on kuten näistä kuvistakin saattaa päätellä.
