Today's flowers No 40 - in memory of a lost friend

This Sunday meme is hosted by Luis Santilli Jr, Denise Gullickson, Laerte Pupo, Denise B. Castro

My flowers today are my small miniature roses here in my little town garden. They are my tribute to my darling Luca who passed away on Friday and talk about my great sadness and loss.

I still find it hard to think about him without tears running down my cheeks and a great lump sticking in my throat but I did want to pay my little hairy friend this tribute here in my blog.

For myself I have chosen the Bleeding Heart and Forget-Me-Nots that were flowering in our cottage garden. No other flowers could express my inner turmoil better.

Also I will try to visit as many as possible of you but please don't be offended if I still haven't got the strength to comment very much.

Forget-me-nots and Bleeding hearts really do well for this post and for what you're feeling right now. Sad story my friend. But c'mon cheer up a bit! BTW, nice presentation and the soft colors you gave on your flowers.

What a befitting tribute to Luca. Those flowers really signify how sad and hurt and how you miss him. Hugs, my friend.

You could not possibly have posted a lovlier tribute to Luca. Remember the good times and be grateful for the time you shared.

Kauniisti olet laittanut Lucan kukkien keskelle.

I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved Luca. Your flowers are a touching tribute to him and all the fond memories and experiences with him that you shared with us, your blogger friends. Take care...

So sorry about your friend. My condolences.

Hei min venn!

Sure, I meant well when I said Cheer Up! It's our way, (Filipinos) of saying that we don't want you to be so sad and that we do understand how you feel and a little of cheering you up will get the hurt away bit by bit. So, we always end up with the phrase Cheer up. :) Again, I'm sorry my friend about Luca.

I find that i do try to visit you lovely and supportive people but at this point I just cannot find so much inspiration.
So I will just say that your support and kind words mean the world to me and I have not forgotten you. I shall repay you all a visit and leave comments on your wonderful posts as soon as I can find the strength to go on as normal.
Pacey I know that you would not have meant it light heartedly as you are a kind and considerate person. There is a differense in our cultures, I guess.
