Thanks for your always lovely comments ME. The snake was quite stiff as it wasn't all that warm even if it was sunny. So he wasn't really too alert and this one isn't poisonous either unlike the adder that also sometimes comes into our yard.

Great shots. I really like the close-up of the snake and the 3rd shot which to me, looks like an alien on its back. :-)

What a treat to come back from my little keyboard vacation to you gorgeous photos. What spendid looking horses you have for neighbors. Do you know what breed they are?

What a great place to go to to relax and take photos. Great series of shots you have posted here. Yikes, the snake is kind of creepy. Now I hope I don't dream about it...you have such a keen eye for capturing nature unfolding...

So many excellent photos...perhaps most striking to me is the photo above the happy dogs. The red walls and the white windows just stand out so well from the surroundings.

Also...what is that on top of the eggs and next to the cucumber in the delicacies photo?

Tarolino said...

Lanny, I don't know the breed of the two dark ones. The light horse i think is our very own finnish horse.

Bryan: It is salmon mayonaise.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I find snakes among the most beautiful creatures in the world.

Du begynner å gå meg i næringen!

VALKYRIEN said...

These are all magnificent, but the two that really jumped out at me were the third one and the one with the drop in the middle of the "crown" of leaves. Amazing!

Absolut.

What lovely photographs of gorgeous places. I particularly like the reflective one with the tall vase and the doggie photos made me smile.

Wow!!! You have so many beautiful photos. I first caught the attention of the fern. I didn't think ferns grew in Finland as it is so cold. We have lots of ferns in New Zealand.

I like that lizard. It seems to be frozen.

Tuo lähikuva rantakäärmeestä, napitusten luikeron kanssa, on ihan huippu!
