Today's Flowers No 37 - Spring is here to stay

This Sunday meme is hosted by Luis Santilli Jr, Denise Gullickson, Laerte Pupo, Denise B. Castro

I'm still stuck on those nature's little spring glories that we have around. This time of year it's easy to count the new arrivals in both nature and garden. Later so many different species come at once that it is no longer possible.

The Coltsfoot you already know but they are now out in big numbers all over the place.

Same goes for the blue (pink/purple) Woodanenemies. The forest floor is now totally littered with them in places where the light conditions are right.

These white Woodanenemies are new for the week and have just started in the sunnier places. In a week or so they will cover the ground in many places.

The Pussywillows are also flowering now and the Bumble Bees have woken up. A small white one here.

In the gardens there are Grape Hyacinths, Scilla and Spring Iris among other spring flowers. As you can gather Pussywillows are among my favourite subjects. Especially like this when the light comes from behind.

A yellow Bumble Bee busying itself in a Crocus. There's a lot of saffron material on it (saffron comes from crocuses).

Hope you enjoyed these northern beauties and look forward to seeing all your wonderful blooms of the week.

Wonderful photos, again!! I have not seen any bees yet, but yesterday, I saw three butterflies! The Forsythia is starting to bloom, so I will have a post about it in the next few days.

You've made some beautiful collages of your spring flowers. Thanks for sharing them and I look forward to seeing more in the weeks ahead.

The bumble bees are just having a feast sucking the nectars, or saffron, I should say. Something new I learned. I love those colorful flowers and even the way you highlight your narratives in colors. Great idea!

These collages are so well-put together, and the images are just fantastic. Nothing like these bright little flowers to brighten someone's day. Thanks for sharing!

Minäkin eksyin tänään kameran kanssa krookuksen eteen, missä mönki mehiläinen.Ei niistä kuvista kylläkään tullut noin hienoja.
Oon tainut aikoinaan jo sanoakkin, mutta sinä kehityt ihan huimaa vauhtia noitten kuvausten kanssa.En tajua, miten saat ne noin teräviksi.Ja värit ovat kohdallaan.Ei mulla vaan :(

Such wonderful spring photos. I especially like the woodanenemies. The white ones remind me of my strawberry flowers that I just saw in my garden yesterday.

Ihania kuvia. En olekaan aikaisemmin tiennyt leskenlehden englanninkielistä nimeä "varsanjalat". Lystikäs nimi lystikkäälle kukalle. Iloista kevään jatkoa.

Näin se kevät etenee, kimalainenkin jo liikkeellä. Teilläpäin sille onkin jo kivasti mettä tarjolla.
Kukkasarjat hienoja lähiotoksia :)
