I got myself an Easter cactus
Here's one of the fully opened flowers. I did notice it was blurred but I decided I actually like it this way.
I've been carrying other flowers home too. Here's some tulips, miniature roses and St Paulias.
Close up of tulip after five days of purchase. Small signs of wilting can be seen but I thought it makes for an interesting detail.

We call them Christmas cactus here, but they're beautiful no matter what the name is!
I am still waiting for the tulips here! And wow you got lots!
Very, very pretty! :-)
I like your "less than perfect" commentary. Yes, the blur is fine, and the wilt is natural. Beautiful!
Gorgeous series of photos. I too like the effect of the "blur".

I like the color of your Easter cactus :)

Mickey Welcomes You To Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Fill the house with flowers, while waiting for spring. I love the macro shot of the purple tulip. It does not have to be perfect to be beautiful!

I love that colour!! And the slightly blurry shot is almost abstract, an impression rather than an exact image! Like trying to photograph a feeling!
And the purple tulip is just exquisite!! As I said on another blog, decay can have its own beauty!
You made a comment about forsythia, somewhere, too. I am not sure how cold you get in the winter, but Canada has developed hardier forsythias. They are called something like Northern Gold. We go down to -35 or so, and my forsythia was simply covered last year. Hopefully, this year too!
Wow! That 2nd one is stunning!
Your indoor varieties are very pretty! Soon you'll see many outdoor ones. Meanwhile, these look GREAT. ;-)
The cactus is so unique, I've never seen one like this before. I'm seeing so much "firsts in my life" in your blog. :)
I like your attitude,. When you get flowers, you don't fool aroud but get a whole heap, and they are beuties.
The Persimmon in not native to Australia, but to the Orient. The other tree in my post, the Grevillea is one of our natives.
Wonderful series of beautiful flowers. Thank you so much for sharing them.
Your Easter cactus has a beautiful color. I also like the second photograph. The tulip has a lot of character.
Beautiful.
Har du det slikt inne - hvem trenger ute? :-)
BEAUTIFUL!!! My sister in law had one of those for a long time and it bloomed every year for her.
Hugs and blessings,
