Maaseudulla luontosafarilla .... On a nature safari in the countryside

So many migrating birds had already arrived to our shores in the area where our summer cottage is situated. My brother even saw grey herons but I had no sighting even if I trampled all around the shores for hours.

Räkättirastas ... Field fare

Västäräkki ... Pied wagtail

Kanadan hanhia ... Canada geese

Merihanhia ... Greylag geese

Samat lennossa ... The same in flight

Lentäviä merihanhia ja telkkäpariskunta ... Greylag geese and Goldeneyes in flight

Merimetsoja ... Cormorants

Kyhmyjoutsen ruokailee ... Mute swan feeding

Punarinta ... Robin

Laulurastas ... Throstle

Peipponen ... Chaffinch

Keltasirkku ... Yellowhammer

Mustarastas (uros) ... Blackbird (male)

Talitiaianen ... Great tit

Sama lennossa ... The same in fleight

Kuusitiainen ... Coal tit

Käpytikka ja sinitiainen yhdessä ... Spotted woodpecker and blue tit together

Talitiainen odotti vuoroansa ... The great tit waited for its turn

Kuten odotti tämä söpö kurrekin ... As waited this cute squirrel

Talitiaiset tulossa tekemään kurrelle seuraa ... Great tits flying in to make company for the squirrel

Muurahaisvilinää ... Heaps of ants

Näin myös metsäjäniksiä ja supikoiria mutta kuvaa niistä en saanut ... I also saw mountain hares and raccoon dogs but did not manage a photo of them.

Inkoo - Ingå, that's West if I remember my Finnish geography.
Great pictures of all those birds of which I maybe like the little ribin best. But don't say it to him (as I say the same thing to the other ones as well), he could repeat it.
The squirrel is quite a fellow in that tree. They're nice.

With each of your pictures,
my smile grew bigger.
By the time I reached the first squirrel image, I was sitting here giggling - thank for this wonderful tour! :-)

Heheh...I enjoyed again this story. Why do these birds don't show up here? I think they choose you to be their photographer coz they know you can do it better than me. :(

You got some great pictures on your countryside safari. I especially liked your pictures of the geese in flight.
